A Canadian living and writing in Dublin

What happens when a clumsy, anal-retentive journalist/slam poet/women’s rights activist/arts enthusiast/thrill-seeker/lost soul with a common sense deficiency who bores easily leaves her Canadian home and native land in pursuit of a master’s in creative writing from Trinity College in Dublin?

She realizes she hates fiction and is a shit poet, but decides journalism, women’s rights, and Dublin are where it’s at for the time being. With nowhere better to go, she commits herself to a second year in the Irish capital, hoping maybe she’ll stumble upon the right path eventually or at least have fun testing out all the wrong ones.
